Westfield, Indiana Joyce Annette Nelson 1940 — 2024 Joyce Annette English Nelson, 83, of Westfield, Indiana, died at 2:28 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at IU Health North Hospital - Carmel following an illness. Joyce was born November 27, 1940, in Galesburg, Illinois, the daughter of William Glen and Mattie Marie (Roach) English. She married Frederick Nelson on July 2, 1960, and they were married for 23 years. She is survived by her children, Kim Rubendunst of Westfield, Indiana and Mark (Amy Allers) Nelson of Chicago, Illinois; grandson, Robert Beau (Maggie) Rubendunst, and granddaughter Annie Rubendunst; one sister, Glenda Inness of Galesburg; and nieces and nephews, Kari Forster, Erin Morris and Ron VanFleet. Harold, born June 27, 1935 in Nashville, Indiana, was the son of Harold and Elma Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents and three older brothers, Merrill Moore, Keith Moore, and Loren Moore. Harold, known to his loved ones as Ray, is survived by his wife of 62 years, Janet Thompson Moore, his daughter, Lesa Moore and his son, Bryan (Lisa Dillman) Moore of Indianapolis.
