I've seen a lot of Simpsons, Family Guy, and Disney "in real life" posts and thought it would be fun to see what the principal characters from Futurama would look like.
Using a mix of AI and Photoshop, I've crafted photos as close to the essence of each character as possible, with some artistic license to resolve issues where a 2D cartoon doesn't quite translate to a 3D human (or alien, or robot).

This is reminiscent of Star Control 3, a fantastically awful game from an otherwise amazing franchise. Whilst tahat failure of a game was made like, 25 years ago, the alien artwork was just like this.

This reminds me of Star Control 3, an awful installment of an otherwise awesome game franchise. The alien interaction scenes are very much like this. It was truly terrible.

Soooo: Fry is too handsome and his hair is wrong, Leela isn't pretty enough and her eye is too small, pretty sure Farnsworth has a smaller number of fingers than what's shown here, Hermes and Amy just look like generic "chubby black man with dreads" and "pretty Asian girl" respectively, Bender looks like a robot that somehow got cancer, Zoidberg and Kif are like creepy flesh eating aliens we should run screaming from rather than a goofy loser dork and anxious sweetheart, Brannigan looks creepy so I guess that fits.Moral of the story: don't trust AI. Do your own work.

I'm awful sick of random people on the internet calling AI art. They are not the same. There is no creativity in typing general text prompts, hitting enter, and waiting. That's not art, takes no works on the behalf of the "creator", and violates many moral & ethical boundaries. Bottom line? The poster did NOT re-imagine, because they never used their imagination.
