I've had several merino wool T shirts from this company, both regular and high neck one's and they are amazing. You can wear them for days, they're perfect for all seasons.
The colours can be a bit muted but recently I ordered a T shirt in Red and a jumper in Yves Klein blue,
The jumper was a bit tight so they remade it for free. No problem at all. This is incredible aftersales.

This review is based over several purchases and always the quality and speed of service is brilliant - I love seeing the tag say “Chris” for my custom shirts. Yes expensive but cannot beat the quality of the products

Received the shirts and found them too tight (my fault indeed during the order), ask for Free Remake Guarantee and in a couple of days they sorted out and send me new shaped shirts. best after-sales services ever. btw the quality of the shirts is amazing! highly recommended

The quality of the materials used is top notch as well as the manufacturing and fit.
For my first order, I made an error in my measurements so my initial shirt came out too small. I contacted the company and they aided me in adjusting my measurements and produced a replacement shirt FOR FREE. It came back and had the perfect fit. I then purchased 2 more. My measurements are saved for future shirts. This is exactly what I’ve been waiting for-especially because it’s very difficult to find clothes that fit me properly. I look forward to future purchases!!!!!

My experience has been exceptional. Their products are top quality. I particularly love their high neck tee-shirts, but when my last order arrived I realised I had I mistakenly ordered the wrong style for one of them. I messaged the fact of my error, and received a warm response within 24 hours to say they would create a new tee with the hi-neck I preferred. Imprressed!

Son of a Tailor remade my recent order without any fuss, holding true to your claim. The garments fit so much better and reflect the Hi neck Tshirt I received with my initial order.

***Update on this review***: To be fair to SOAT, they have responded to my review, taken responsibility and efficiently and with some charm, rectified the situation. A rarity among businesses these days, so full marks for this.
Completely disagree with this rating. Having purchased 3 t shirts and one jumper personally and 2 t shirts as gifts, really this is nothing short of an overly expensive scam.
Overpriced Revolut shirts purported to be finest cotton, blah blah etc. In reality these t-shirts which have worn out and lost their shape worse than a cheap offering. The only t-shirt i've owned that's ripped at the back as i was adjusting it, wyf?!
The italian wool jumper is good quality but loses its shape easily too.
Don't waste your money on these "quality" t-shirts, they are very poor quality.

Amazing experience with Son of a Tailor. The first sweater I received unfortunately didn't fit perfectly. After sending some pictures to customer service I got the proposed adjustments very fast. They produced the second sweater and this one fits absolutely perfect.
Quality of the sweater is very good. Highly recommend.

As someone who worked as a manager in luxury retail for 10+ years, I understand and appreciate service and quality and I am super impressed with this company.
Handwritten label was a nice touch, quality, fabric and fit is excellent. A very worthy impulse buy and will be ordering more as my new wardrobe basics and for work.

I believe I've bought 20 or so high neck T shirts over the past 2 years not including the latest 6 that I've just received. I noticed the cotton is not heavy weight like before, much much thinner, also not as 'elastic'. Touch and feel totally different. Everything is looser including the all important neckline which used to snap on nicely. It's a tad disappointing. Let's see if this latest batch is durable after several washes. If it ain't, I'll have to look for alternative brands. Also I've read some of the company's responses to reviews here, some were good while others were passive aggressive especially the ones by the designer. There's got to be more language consistency in the way the company responds, it's an important part of the brand.

I bought 2 high neck t shirts and they fit perfectly and are super comfortable. So I bought 2 more in different colors-- again a perfect fit. These are great to wear underneath a shirt or sweater that may be partially or fully open.

Stay away buy elsewhere. Terrible customer service. When ordering a shirt it said it will arrive at a specific time frame and i ordered because i needed it for an occasion. I ordered one shirt and by the time it was meant to arrive already I have been told that it is not even ready and will be late. 1 t shirt! It has been over 10 days.
Obviously they will reply here and tell me that made to order items are meant to take longer and try to sugarcoat their lateness with fancy words about how good their brand is instead of prioritising customer needs. This is the first and last time I will be ordering from this company as they cannot be trusted.

I ordered several items (t-shirts, pullover, sweaters) and it really is high-quality clothing!
Tailored sizing makes products perfect and they last much longer than fast-fashion clothing (being way more sustainable!).
Also, the free remake guarantee is really helpful and works great! I asked for a sweater to be made again as I didn't like the fit. Customer support was very kind and helpful in suggesting a new custom-size and the new sweater arrived and it was perfect!
I totally recommend Son of a Taylor!

My initial shirt order was not well shaped for me so I took a few photos and the very kind and capable service technicians quickly adjusted the needed fit of the shirt. At no extra expense to me (but at non-trivial customization and shipping expense to SOAT) I was quickly reissued a new shirt that is absolutely perfect in size, shape, and material. This is the standard for customer service to which all companies ought to aspire but few if any ever achieve. I will be buying many more shirts from them as my custom fit is now permanently in their records. Thank you for an outstanding customer service experience. Best ever!

Repeatedly ordered knitwear from SoT; of course, the cardigan sits very well and has an amazing customized fit and quality stitching, not to mention the color;
The drop-shoulder hoodie is great and very soft on the skin, though I missed a little bit with the neck width;
Great color cotton tee is an amazing addition to the colorful palette in my dresser )

I wish buying clothes was always as pleasant as Son of a Tailor makes it. They are very easy to work with and are dedicated to making their product fit perfectly. I recently bought a High-Neck T-Shirt and emailed them after I tried it on to ask if it would be possible to make a few changes to make it fit better. Following the instructions they sent to me, I took a few pictures showing how it fit and sent these into them. They analyzed the pictures, informed me where they would make some changes (primarily to the angle of the shoulder seam and a little at the armhole), sent me a revised shirt which fits great - all at no extra cost. They now have a pattern in their database which I can use to buy more shirts, which I will do. And their pricing is reasonable. They are a pleasure to work with, are super responsive and set a new standard of excellence in customer service. Thank you to Simon and the team at Son of a Tailor!
