Sweet & Spicy Homemade Gingerbread Latte (1)

Now that it’s December, we can stop talking about pumpkin, and START talking about gingerbread, and peppermint and holly and … snow?

Okay, perhaps not (we live in Phoenix), but still.. GINGERBREAD!! YES!!

I’m a huge fan of coffee, but I’ve gotten picky in my old age, about the quality of coffee that I drink. I like it to be … well, perfect. Folks, I like it hot, I like it strong and I like it to not cost me $5 for a cup. Starbucks used to make this for me, but have discontinued it – I haven’t seen it in the last 2 years!

While I’m sure I could find another coffee shop, why bother when I can make my own right at home for a fraction of the cost?

This is good news for YOU because I’m sharing with you my own recipe for Gingerbread Syrup, which is obviously a key ingredient in creating a Gingerbread Latte.

Just heat or steam your favorite milk, then combine with a couple of shots of espresso (or strong coffee), some homemade gingerbread syrup.

To finish, top with whipped cream. Oh myyyyy. It’s the holidays, live a little!
